Structural Edits Update

Since my last post, I have been editing chapters out of order, The Holidays happened, and we have finally entered the new year. I find it the most difficult to edit or write during the last two months of the year. Most of my family and friends work alongside the school calendar, so things get extra hectic when its the main time I can see them! I also had some Health Things come up, so I didn’t get a lot of writing done.

At this point in time, I am working on Chapter 29 out of 41, and after that, I will have nine chapters to go. (As long as I don’t add any more chapters!) Again, I have been writing out of order, so some chapters after 29 are already complete, if you’re doing the math. These chapters will need extra work once complete, since they are being extensively rewritten. Note to past and future me: please get it on the page before trying to make it pretty. (Plenty of authors and editors will say the same thing if you spend time on the author side of Tiktok!)

In the meantime, I have once again updated the Book List and the Main Page, along with some minor edits and structure changes. (The bots were making more use of my contact form than any real humans, so I will be exclusively be using social media for the time being.) I have a new series of connected stories based on characters I have created during my free writing time. Kaveri, Daphne, and Hibaah join the ranks, and I look forward to getting to write their books. I don’t know which book I will tackle next: Into the Breaking Waves, Until the Stars Fall trilogy, or Shadows of Somniera. I have the most outlined for those last two, but the priority is getting that first book published. This is what happens when one has too many ideas and can’t do them all at once. I think that should be illegal.
