Last Two Chapters

That’s right, you read the title right. I only have two chapters to revise! That’s the good news. The bad news is… it needs another round of revisions that will include some line editing. Then I will pass it on to my editor. Hopefully the grammar, line edits, and copy editing phases will go much quicker! I am happy with the current results, but the edits took longer than I expected.

As you can see, I didn’t manage to post in March due to my trip. Layovers are so stressful! However, once I finish these last two chapters, I will be taking at least a two week break. It will give me time to refresh my mind and consider future books. I will be able look at the manuscript with fresh eyes!

Speaking of those future books, I will continually update the book list with the main characters as I change my mind about things. A newer character has more potential to work well within the structure of the story I have for Shadows of Somniera, so she is replacing the other character. However, those characters will still play a role, just in the background!

Another short post, since most of my energy is going into finishing off this revision, but I will be posting again in May once I have started the next revisions! I do hope to start posting again to Instagram and Tiktok, but that will happen once I am closer to publication.
